Welcome to my world of art. I'm Maria Voncken, a Dutch artist and art therapist, inspired by the serene beauty of pure nature. In my work, I aim to enhance nature's natural charm, adding a touch of brilliance to create captivating beings that come to life in art.

The warm glow of the sun and the golden spark that it radiates is fascinating to me, I infuse this warmth into my art. For me, art is a way to explore and express emotions and wonder, a healing journey that brings me closer to nature. Each brushstroke and piece I create carries these elements. When we come closer to ourselves and nature we can surround ourselves in "being". Being in this world and experiencing all that is here. When I make art i surround myself in this "being" state. From this point i create consciously and I look how this "being" wants to exist. In that way I treat every artwork as an unique creature with an own identity that comes alive in this world. In this way every artwork is unique and cannot be reproduced.
